Description

One of the central aims of spiritual formation in students is authentic Christian living, or evidence of inward transformation that actively shapes the outward expression of life. In order to achieve that aim, student ministry pedagogy must penetrate more than just the minds of young disciples by striving for a balance in engaging the intellectual, affectual, and behavioral domains. Only as knowledge is internalized, growing roots into the heart, will that knowledge begin to pervade a young life.

Jason Engle and his family have lived in Roxboro, NC for the past 12 years where he serves as Pastor of Students and Discipleship at Westwood Baptist Church. Jason is also a candidate for Ed.D and a Teaching Fellow at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
