Description

Abstract: From July 2017 through January 2019, home groups from The Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas participated in a research project focused on family discipleship. The research question sought to determine the impact that small group family discipleship could have on individual families. Are families more likely to enjoy consistent rhythms of family discipleship in their homes if they are accustomed to worshiping with their family members and other families in their home group? This article provides the details of the research project while examining both the results and the implications and applications of these results for churches and families today.
