After years of counseling engaged and married couples, the Rienow’s realized that most Christian couples did not have a biblical mission and purpose for their family. The couples had learned some things about communication, sexuality, and conflict resolution. But they didn’t know WHY God had brought them together! Visionary Marriage will reveal that God does have a plan and a purpose for marriage and family in the Bible. The focus is on the big-picture purpose for marriage, and the goal of being successful once understanding the purpose.
Rob Rienow’s most important ministry is loving his wife Amy and leading their six children to love God. He serves as the founder of Visionary Family Ministries (visionaryfam.com), whose mission is to build the Church through a global reformation of family discipleship. He is a pastor, church planter, and author of several books. Rob has an M.A. in Theology from Wheaton College Graduate School, an M.Div. from Trinity International University, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. The Rienow family lives in Wheaton, IL.
Amy Rienow’s first ministry is loving her husband and nurturing faith and character in her children. She is the author of Shine: Embracing God’s Heart for You (Kregel) – a devotional book for young women. She attended University of Illinois, followed by Wheaton College Graduate School where she earned her MA in Clinical Psychology. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor. Amy currently has her hands full as a homeschool mom and leading the Children’s Choir ministry at Wheaton Bible Church.
