Curriculum resource choices are critical for any and all educational settings, and especially the curriculum of the church, since it has eternal effects. Curriculum resources can affect the spiritual health and eternal destiny of individuals either negatively or positively. The value of children to God that is found in Scripture and the warnings not to cause children to stray from faith, intensify the need for curriculum evaluation.
Dr. Amanda Cooley is the Camp Director for Grey Stone Kids Camp (Grey Stone Church, Durham) and an Instructor of Christian Education in the Baptist Women’s Institute of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. In her spare time she also works for Apple, Inc.
