Description
The Proverbs were written in order to steer the lives of young men toward right in an attempt to rescue society, the home, and the collective direction of God’s people. Throughout this book, written mainly for men, are beautiful ascriptions to women. More unmistakable are the fifteen references to mothers that provide instruction for the men of Proverbs who may fail with it. An expositional examination of verses specifically mentioning mothers will give appreciation for the role of women as presented in Proverbs.
