Over the last five decades, various questions have been raised examining the unique role that fathers play in the healthy development of a child. Debates over the necessity of a father have strengthened the controversy surrounding the idea of what the nuclear family should consist in order to give children the best opportunity for success in social skills, psychological development, education, and careers.
Dr. Brian S. McKinney earned an Ed.D. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and presently serves as a Principal at Mt. Juliet Christian Academy in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
