Description
Grief is a shadow that never fully goes away. It changes you, interrupts your plans, and reshapes your future. In Living in the Shadow of Grief: Enlarging Your Capacity to Grieve With Hope, Dave and Debbie Keehn share the story of the sudden loss of their son, offering a vulnerable, faith-filled companion for anyone walking the long road of sorrow. Living in the Shadow of Grief is a guide that helps you understand how grief reshapes life and how, through God’s presence, your capacity to carry sorrow and live with hope can grow. Whether you are grieving yourself or walking beside someone who is, this book reminds you that grief may change you, but by God’s grace, it does not have to defeat you. Even in the shadow, there is a way forward and a hope that holds.
Dr. Dave and Debbie Keehn have spent over 30 years investing in the church and the next generation of ministry leaders. Dave has served on pastoral staff at a variety of churches, senior chaplain for the Orange County Fire Authority, and chair of the Christian Ministries department at Biola University’s Talbot Seminary. Married since 1992, Dave and Debbie are parents to Aimee, Adam, and Mfundo, and grandparents to Ava, Kinsley, and Aliyah. After the loss of their son Adam, they launched the Adam Keehn Foundation to support and mentor young youth pastors, continuing their shared legacy of hope, faith, and ministry.
