From Genesis to Revelation, the theme is \u201cOne who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much\u201d (Luke 16:10). This faithfulness extends to the calling of teaching, carry- ing the responsibility of training up the next generation of adults in any cultural context. From a stewardship perspective, students are given to a teacher for a time, and the teacher must make the most of that time for the benefit of all involved.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 89\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>Danny Poyner, Jr., D.Ed.Min.<\/strong>, serves as the minister of music and wor- ship at Aversboro Road Baptist Church in Garner, North Carolina. He is married to Jill and has two teenage sons.
