This book is a collection of essays to honor F. Leroy Forlines who had a long career as a college\u00a0professor teaching Bible and theology classes at Welch College. Led by editors Matthew\u00a0Steven Bracey and W. Jackson Watts, the contributors are Andrew Ball, James Forlines, Jon\u00a0Forlines, Kevin L. Hester, Matthew McAffee, Edward E. Moody Jr., Phillip T. Morgan, David Outlaw,\u00a0Jesse F. Owens, Robert E. Picirilli, J. Matthew Pinson, Barry Raper, and Christopher Talbot.\u00a0The contributors collaborated to celebrate and honor him for foundations he has laid for future\u00a0generations toward Christian faithfulness. This work explores aspects of Forlines\u2019 work through\u00a0summary, synthesis, analysis, and critical engagement.
Matthew Steven Bracey<\/strong> teaches at Welch College in Nashville, Tennessee, where he also serves\u00a0as Registrar and Law and Policy Advisor. He teaches courses in history, law, and theology. He\u00a0holds degrees from Welch College (B.A.), Beeson Divinity School (M.T.S), and Cumberland\u00a0School of Law (J.D.). He is a co-founder and Senior Editor of the Helwys Society Forum<\/a>. He has written a number of popular and scholarly articles. Matthew lives in the Nashville\u00a0area with his wife, Sarah.<\/p>\n W. Jackson Watts<\/strong> is the pastor of Grace Free Will Baptist Church in the St. Louis metro area,\u00a0where he has served since 2011. He is a graduate of Welch College (B.A.), Southeastern Baptist\u00a0Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Duke Divinity School (Th.M.). He is also completing a\u00a0doctorate in theology and culture at Concordia Seminary. Watts is the author of Biblical Beliefs:\u00a0Doctrines Believers Should Know<\/em>, and a co-founder and Senior Editor of the Helwys Society\u00a0Forum.
