Abstract: This article presents Martin Luther\u2019s belief and teaching that God exclusively gave parents the responsibility to teach their children biblical content,
\ntheology, and spiritual disciplines. Luther claimed that Christian educators and church leaders are not the primary theological teachers for children. The first section of this article provides Luther\u2019s biblical theology for the educational responsibilities of parent. Secondly, Luther\u2019s arguments for parents to teach biblical content, theology, and spiritual disciplines in the home will be examined. Lastly, the article provides some of Luther\u2019s methodologies that parents may utilize for the successful biblical education of their children within the home.<\/p>\n
